ASSOCIATED BRANDS INDUSTRIES LTD

2001 TO 2004 COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT

This is the first Collective Agreement with this employer and it provided for:

1) Overtime at time-and-a-half for the first four hours and double time after that

2) Vacation ranging from 10 days for the first three years increasing to 20 days after 15 years

3) 14 days sick leave with an extension for up to three months in the first instance;

4) Meal allowance of $16

5) Shift premiums ranging from 60 cents per hour to $1.05 per hour

6) Further discussions to take place on a Pension Plan and a Medical Plan

7) On contracting out, it was agreed that "the Company shall not give out under contract any work normally performed by employees comprised in the Bargaining Unit"

8) Wages increases of 16% with 6% in the first year and 5% in the remaining two years

9) a similar increase in COLA
